Why Our OFAC Status Matters

Venezuela is subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions. Most U.S. companies are prohibited from conducting oil and gas procurement transactions involving Venezuela or PdVSA. MPH is different — our 2011 establishment date qualifies us as an Established U.S. Entity under OFAC General Licenses, giving us — and our clients — lawful access to transactions that are simply unavailable to newer U.S. entities.

    MPH was incorporated on August 21, 2011 — more than 13 years before OFAC's qualifying date. This status is permanent and cannot be acquired by any new entity formed after that date.

    Every transaction receives an OFAC Transaction Reference Number (OTRN). All vendors, carriers, and counterparties are SDN-screened. Records maintained for 5+ years.
